Surgery & Orthopedics

Our state-of-the-art surgical suite is equipped for a wide range of procedures.

Finding out that your pet needs surgery can be frightening, even when it’s a simple procedure. Unfortunately, pets, just like people, may require surgical intervention for a number of issues, including diseases, degenerative disorders, injuries, and congenital issues.

At Maynard Animal Hospital, we are equipped to provide a wide range of soft-tissue and orthopedic surgeries in our state-of-the-art surgical suite. We take your dog or cat’s comfort and safety seriously, too, and will ensure that they are closely monitored before, during, and after surgery. If your pet needs surgery and orthopedics in Cary, our friendly team will be by you and your pet’s side throughout the entire process.

Surgical Services

Our animal hospital is equipped for a vast range of soft-tissue and orthopedic surgeries. We perform all soft-tissue procedures, including lump removal, foreign object removal, and more. Our team also works closely with an orthopedic surgeon who visits our facility regularly to perform a number of orthopedic procedures.

If your pet comes to us for any type of surgery, they will be examined prior to going under anesthesia to ensure their safety. They will also be closely monitored during surgery and while in recovery. Our team will do everything possible to keep your companion comfortable and safe and keep you updated on their status. They will also provide you with detailed aftercare instructions to help you care for your pet after you take them home.
